Where is the Museum located?
The Museum is located in Brookline, MA off of Newton Street.

What are the hours of the Museum?
The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and 9 AM - 3PM on Sunday. We are closed on Mondays. We are closed on most major holidays. Please check the main page of our website for the most up-to-date information regarding hours and early closings.

Is there an admission cost?
Adults are $12. Military, Students, seniors and children 6-12 are $7 and children under 6 are free.

I am a frequent visitor of the Museum. Am I eligible for a discount?

Yes! Please consider becoming a member. There are many benefits to becoming a member. You receive:
• Free admission to the Museum and the Museum-sponsored Lawn Events. Please note: There is no discount on Car Registration at any Lawn Events for Museum Members.

Is photography allowed in the Museum?

Personal, non-commercial photography without flash is permitted in the museum. The use of flash or attachments, and movie or video cameras is not permitted in the Museum without specific permission from Museum staff.

May I use my cell phone in the Museum?
Please be considerate when using a cell phone. Please enter a public area when making or answering a call. Please do not take a call in an exhibition area.

Is alcohol allowed in the Museum?
No. There is no alcohol allowed in the Museum unless you are holding a private event and have a liquor permit and a detail from the Town. Please contact our Event Manager for more details.

Can I buy tickets for the skating rink at the Museum?

No. The skating rink is not affiliated with the Museum and can be contacted at Jack Kirrane Ice Skating Rink at Larz Anderson Park here.

Are there public restrooms and public phones in the Museum?

No. The bathrooms are for Museum patrons only. Public restrooms are located in the park. There are no public phones in the Museum so please plan accordingly.

Is there parking available at the Museum?
Yes. There are designated spaces in front of the Museum and on top of the hill. Do not park on grass.

Can I bring my dog inside the Museum?

Only Guide Dogs and certified Companion Dogs are allowed; absolutely no other animals.

What about a Lawn Event, can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome at Lawn Events! Please note, the dog must be kept on a leash at all times and is not allowed in the Museum at any time unless they are a Guide Dog or a certified Companion Dog.

I want to come to a Lawn Event and show my car, what do I do?
We have two types of shows, about half are sponsored by local car clubs and the Museum and the other half are sponsored by just the Museum. The Museum only collects online registration information and payment for the Museum sponsored shows. Please check the show pages for more information about each show.

Can I buy tickets in advance to a Lawn Event?
As of now, we do not offer advance ticket sales to the Museum or Lawn Events. We are exploring a way to offer this at a later date.

How much does it cost to attend a Lawn Event?
The Museum charges spectator admission to all the Lawn Events, this includes admission to the show and the Museum. The cost is Adults are $12. Military, Students, seniors and children 6-12 are $7 and children under 6 are free.

I'd like to have a photoshoot in the Museum, what do I do?
We do not allow photoshoots in the Museum during Museum hours. If you'd like to book a private photoshoot, contact our Functions Manager at functions@larzanderson.org.
