OVERVIEW

T he Larz Anderson Auto Museum provides an exciting educational experience for adults and children alike. Through text, video, and original artifacts, the Museum is able to provide an understanding of the automobile age and how it has changed our society.

The Museum offers unique guided tours and lesson plans for various age groups. Along with tours, the Museum also offers fun and informational adult and children’s programming and events. Please note: Our education department needs at least three weeks notice to schedule a tour.

GROUP TOURS

The Larz Anderson Auto Museum offers fun and educational tours and programming for groups of all ages and is a great visit for corporate groups, school groups, senior groups, and large and small bus tours. Group tours of the Museum are available by reservation year-round, Tuesday through Friday, and can be scheduled between 10 am and 3 pm. The Museum offers an enjoyable and informative tour of the Museum with in depth discussions on the automobiles, the history of the unique Carriage House, and the Andersons, which can be catered to any group and their needs. Tours range from 45 minutes to an hour, and each one includes a guided tour of the current exhibit and permanent collection, and the history behind the Museum.

VOLUNTEER

At the Larz Anderson Auto Museum we are always looking for the help and support of volunteers for various projects and duties throughout the Museum. If you love cars as much as we do, we want your help! Please visit the Volunteer page for more information!

INTERNSHIPS

An internship at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum is a great learning experience for students during the fall, spring and summer semesters. The internship must be directly related to the academic curriculum or the interests of the intern. All internships are supervised by the Museum staff and interns are encouraged to use their internship at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum for school credit.
