An Evening with Burt Levy
There are two kinds of vintage enthusiasts in the world; those who have read the Buddy Palumbo novels and those who will. The Last Open Road is now a classic. It introduces us to Buddy and his New Jersey buddies as they dip their collective toes in the exciting new world of sports car racing on American streets. Burt Levy brings a new dimension to the historical novel. By inserting these all too real fictional characters into venues and races which are now legend, he reminds us of all the positives, and many of the negatives of club racing at its infancy.
