Postercars: Icons of the Road and the Wall
“Poster cars” are automobiles that transcend transportation to become symbols of speed, style, success, and imagination. From the Lamborghini Countach, Murciélago, and Ferrari Testarossa to the Dodge Viper, Ford GT, and Callaway Corvette Sledgehammer, these machines turned engineering into mythology and performance into visual art. Immortalized on bedroom walls, television screens, music culture, and films like The Fast and the Furious, they remain reach cars, forever just beyond grasp but always within reach of possibility.
