The Town of Brookline Massachusetts Department of Public Health requires that all visitors must wear a mask inside the museum and, beginning January 15, 2022, all patrons ages 12 and over shall be required to present proof of at least one dose of vaccination. Starting on February 22, 2022, all patrons ages 12 and over shall be required to present proof of one dose in a one-dose series or all doses in a multiple dose series. Beginning March 22, 2022, all patrons ages 5-11 shall be required to present proof of either one dose of vaccination in either a one-dose or a multiple dose series. Finally, starting on May 1, 2022, all patrons ages 5-11 shall be required to present proof of either one dose of a one-dose series or all doses in a multiple dose series.
In order to participate in a tour, all visitors must wear masks inside the Carriage House and present proof of vaccination in accordance with the laws of the Town of Brookline.
We are currently offering guided tours which can be scheduled Wednesday through Friday from 10 am – 2 pm. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes a guided tour of the current exhibit, permanent collection, and the history of the Museum itself. There is a $100 minimum per tour. he Larz Anderson Auto Museum offers fun and educational tours and programming for groups of all ages and is a great visit for corporate groups, school groups, senior groups, and large and small bus tours. Group tours of the Museum are available by reservation year-round, Tuesday through Friday, and can be scheduled between 10 am and 3 pm. The Museum offers an enjoyable and informative tour of the Museum with in depth discussions on the automobiles, the history of the unique Carriage House, and the Andersons, which can be catered to any group and their needs. Tours range from 45 minutes to an hour, and each one includes a guided tour of the current exhibit and permanent collection, and the history behind the Museum.
Please request your tour date at least 2 weeks in advance. A late fee of $25 will be applied if booking less than two weeks in advance. Minimum of 10 people per tour with a $100 tour minimum. Tour fees must be paid in full five business days prior to the tour via online invoice, check or credit card. Plan to arrive at the Museum 10 minutes prior to your reserved time to allow for check in. Please be aware that if your group arrives late, your tour may be shortened.
